Audie Reese, a West Texas native from Sweetwater Texas, has been practicing law in Lubbock since 2011. After graduating from Sweetwater High in 2001 he attended Texas Tech University, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy in 2005. After a brief stint in the Wind Energy sector he attended Law School at Texas Tech University.

 

Since graduating from Texas Tech Law Audie has represented Defendants accused of serious crimes all over Texas and in Federal Court. During that time Mr. Reese has won aquittals for charges ranging from Aggravated Robbery, DWI, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Indecent Exposure, Aggravated Sexual Assault, Indecency with a Child, Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child, and Murder to name a few. 

 

Over the past few years Audie's practice has developed a primary focus on Defendants falsely accused of Sex Crimes, specifically child sex abuse. With numerous Not Guilty Verdicts in Sex Crime Jury Trials from Midland, Lubbock, Abilene, and all the way to Denton, Texas, Audie's practice is now made up of approximately 50% Sexual Related cases from all over West and North Texas. Audie stays dedicated to representing those accused of these horrible crimes.

 

Audie has been a member of of both the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the Lubbock Defense Lawyers Association for a decade and currently is on the Board of Directors for LCDLA. He enjoys teaching and mentoring young lawyers regarding general criminal trial practice, practical use of the Rules of Evidence in all trials, and managing a private criminal law practice. Mr. Reese has also presented at various CLE seminars regarding these topics on multiple occasions. Audie has also been active in TLAP and is passionate about helping clients and young lawyers avoid the pitfalls of substance abuse and mental health issues.

 

Regarding his private life, Audie Reese married a local Lubbockite while in Law School and is the proud father of 4 children. In his spare time he is passionate about youth sports, specifically youth football, and is a head coach and President of the LRR Stampede Youth Football & Cheer Organization.
